Weekend Assistant (May - January)
Father Tom Statt, who assists at weekend masses, was ordained on May 31, 1958.
In June 1964, Father Tom was assigned to Geneseo by the Bishop of Rochester. He faithfully served the students, faculty, and staff of the College until June 1976. During his ministry at Geneseo, he worked tirelessly with the religious and lay leaders of the various Christian and Jewish faiths serving the college community. Hello! My name is Mary Eggleston. My involvement in faith formation started as an 8th grader -- volunteering on Saturday mornings at St. John the Evangelist (Greece). Along with being a catechist, I have also been involved with Confirmation and Baptismal preparation, children's liturgy, summer camp, RCIA and RCIC, home visitation, scripture study, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. Marcia Sheremeta (a.k.a. “Sweetie” to husband Bob, “Mom” to Michelle, Tom and Scott, “Nana” to Kyla and Shelby, and “Food Lady” to seven furry felines) has been a music minister at St. Charles for the past 32 years. Ralph Zecchino has been a moving force in the musical life of the Town of Greece. For the past 30 years, he has served as Director of the Sanctuary Choir at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Bell Choir Director
Michelle Brady, our Bell Choir Director, joined St. Charles through the RCIA program in 2003. She is married to Tom and has two daughters – Kyla and Shelby. Michelle has played bells since she was in 6th grade and has been involved with the bell choir ministry since its inception. She also serves as a cantor and co-director of Charley’s Angels.
