Youth Group: Light & Shine
While numerous opportunities exist in the Parish for teens to be involved — such as Altar Serving, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Choirs; there are also Youth Group gatherings. The group meets each Sunday, September to June, from 6pm to 8pm. We meet in the Youth room off the cafeteria. Each meeting consists of service, prayer, faith formation, and games. We also collaborate with Christian Formation to provide family enrichment activities occasionally. Teens also have the opportunity to join in with larger groups of Catholic teens through combined Youth Ministry activities such as retreats, Diocesan Youth Convention, and the National Catholic Youth Conference. Come and join the fun, bring a friend or encourage others to join us.
The Light and Shine Youth Ministries provide our youth with social, educational, and spiritual enrichment. There are opportunities to develop lasting friendships, while at the same time participating in parish life and assisting others.
