Interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic Faith?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children (RCIA/RCIC) is a process designed by the Church for adults and older children to receive the sacrament of Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion. The process involves an overview of Catholic teachings and helps the individuals begin to deepen a Christian spiritual life centered on Jesus Christ and the Sunday Scripture readings. Classes begin in September. The Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist are received at the Easter Vigil Mass on April 23, 2011.

Are you:

  • a person who has not been baptized and would like to learn more about the Catholic faith with the possibility of becoming Catholic?
  • a baptized Christian of another denomination who would like to learn more about and possibly join the Catholic church?
  • a baptized Roman Catholic who has never received Eucharist or Confirmation and would like to complete their sacraments?
  • a child over the age of 7 who has never been baptized or has been baptized in another Christian faith or has been baptized Catholic and has never received Catholic instruction.

RCIA & RCIC offers an environment of prayerful support and guidance as you discover how God is working in your life. Is this process for you? Do you have a friend or neighbor who may be interested?
