Assisted Suicide Conference (Sat., February 20)

Legislation has been introduced in NY to legalize assisted suicide and the Diocesan Public Policy Agenda is focusing on this issue now. Nationally known speakers are coming to a conference in Rochester on Saturday, February 20 to present their perspectives on assisted suicide from legal, medical, pastoral care, moral, and disability rights concerns. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester (DOR) is co-sponsoring this conference through the Life Issues Office. Ideal for those in legal and medical professions, as well as clergy, chaplains, pastoral ministers, patients, caregivers, family members, and anyone concerned with this life or death issue. Gain the information you need to become an advocate for appropriate end of life care that honors the dignity of every human being.

Conference location and details: St. John Fisher College, Basil Auditorium 135, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pre-registration advised; same day on-site registration begins 8:30 AM. 6 CLE credits pending for attorneys.
