Music Ministry

Our Music Ministry is one of the many ways you can get involved here at St. Charles. We have opportunities for children and adults alike.

The St. Charles Borromeo Sanctuary Choir provides a wide variety of choral music for the liturgical mass from September to June each season. The group is directed by Eric Trumpowsky, and accompanied by our music minister Marcia Sheremeta. Our dedicated choir is comprised of over 40 singers, some of which have been with the group for decades. Styles of music the group sings range from classical, spirituals, folk songs to contemporary pieces in multiple parts. The choir rehearses once a week on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9pm in the Sanctuary, and will sing about 3 masses each month. Special services we provide music for include Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter, and throughout the Advent and Lenten seasons.

Charley's Angels, our wonderful Youth Choir, rehearses on Sundays from 9:40 -10:10 (in between the 8:30 and 10:30 masses) in the music room in church. They are the music ministers for the Children's Liturgies as well as the Christmas Eve Family Mass. The Resurrection Choir serves a vital role within the parish, assisting with funerals through hymns, Psalms, and response. There are no regularly scheduled rehearsals.
