Holy Orders

Holy Orders is the Sacrament through which men are ordained to serve the Church as deacons, priests, or bishops. It is a calling to a life of service, leadership, and dedication to God and His people. Through this Sacrament, those called are empowered to preach the Gospel, administer the Sacraments, and shepherd the faithful.

Men preparing for ordination participate in extensive formation that includes spiritual, theological, and pastoral training. This preparation ensures that they are ready to serve the community faithfully and responsibly.

If you are discerning a vocation to the priesthood or diaconate, please contact our Vocations Office to learn more about the process, formation programs, and spiritual guidance:

Those already ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops serve the Church in a variety of ways — from celebrating the Sacraments to guiding parish communities and offering spiritual counsel. The Church encourages all members to pray for those in Holy Orders, that they may faithfully serve God and His people.
