The Social Ministry Committee invites you to be a part of our Annual Advent Giving
Project. Like last year we will conduct the project a bit differently than in past years. The Advent Wreath is in the back of church with suggested items and gift cards that can be purchased for the agencies/groups that we are helping this year. There are no ornaments to take with you due to protocols we need to follow.
Again this year….You can also sign up for items through our website (www.stcharlesgreece.org) under News Item — Annual Advent Giving Project. There is a list of items available and all you need to do is click on the agency/group and then sign up for the item(s) you’d like to purchase. When you sign up, you may need to include your name and either your phone number or e-mail address.
Holy Apostles: various board games & warm socks (all sizes)
Catholic Charities Community Services : various gift cards (i.e., Walmart, Wegmans, Target, Playstation, Home Depot, Game Stop, Apple, Visa)
St Michael's: gift cards to Target and Walmart
Andrews Center: gift cards to Target, Walmart, and Wegmans
Mary's Place: items for children and teens (suggestions include: toys [dolls, trucks, building blocks, matchbox cars], soccer balls, EarPods, sleep pants, makeup & nail polish, jewelry, small cozy blankets, warm hats/gloves/scarves, gift cards)
Women Care Center: diapers, wipes, infant sleepers
St. Vincent DePaul Society: full size sheets
St. Charles Community: food items for Christmas baskets—place by St. Joseph’s statue
Greece Clothing Closet: zippered hoodies—men’s & women’s XL and XXL

All items need to be returned UNWRAPPED when you bring them to church. We ask that all gifts be returned to church no later than Sunday, December 5. We are most grateful for anyone who participates in this annual event. Members of the Social Ministry Committee will ensure that all gifts are distributed to the appropriate agencies prior to Christmas.
NOTE: When purchasing a gift card, the suggested amount is $25 per card if you are able to do so. If not, any amount is appreciated. Thank you!
